Researcher for The Mendelssohn Project
A graduate of NYU in Musicology (MA), and the Pratt Institute in Information and Library Science (MLIS), Rachel L. Conrad is an archival consultant and researcher with a specialty in music.
Her experience includes an apprenticeship with the music antiquarians J&J Lubrano, where she worked as a cataloger of rare music books and manuscripts, and consultant projects with music collections of The Fales Library & Special Collections at NYU, the Milken Archive of American Jewish Music, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, and the American Composers Alliance.
Currently the editorial associate of publications at the New York Philharmonic, Ms. Conrad is also consulting for the Earle Brown Music Foundation and The Mendelssohn Project .
