Managing Director of The Mendelssohn Project
Born and raised in Germany, Daniela Nied moved to New York City in January 2005. After completing her degree in film, television, and comparative literature at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, she decided to pursue a career in cultural administration in America.
Ms. Nied has worked as a director's assistant in several theatres in Germany, including a production at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. In New York City, she collected experience at established institutions like the Goethe Institute New York, and The New York International Children's Film Festival.
Currently working for The Mendelssohn Project since December 2005, her many duties include the coordination of the European and American offices.
